Why AS-LA was created, the vision:
AS – Landscape Architecture was created out of a passion for design and out of appreciation for nature and beauty. AS-LA was created with the ambition to create inclusive and vibrant places. Our goal is to design private and public spaces that are accessible, sustainable and beautiful. To develop projects that put users and the environment first and positively influence our lives.
Placemaking for people and nature.
We create valuable, sustainable and beautiful spaces.
We design with users in mind. We put people first, so all users feel welcomed and have a fantastic experience in the spaces we create: inclusive, accessible and functional public spaces or private gardens, enjoyed by the whole family.
We design with and for nature. We understand natural cycles, phytosociology and the importance of contact with nature for our health and wellbeing. We integrate nature into all our projects, through ‘right plant – right location’ approach, enhancing biodiversity and habitats for wildlife, recycling rainwater and using biophilia principles. Adding Environmental Values through design.
We work closely with our clients to match their aesthetic wants with space and sustainability requirements, using our creativity and commitment to deliver the highest quality design.

Who I am:
Anna Sieczak is a Chartered Landscape Architect (CMLI), lecturer in Garden Design at Capel Manor College at The Regent’s Park and a member of CADAP for Tower Hamlet, London.
She graduated with PgDiploma from the University of Greenwich, London, UK and Engineer in Landscape architecture (inżynier) from KUL in Lublin, Poland.
With the background in Oceanography, she is fully aware of changes occurring in nature because of human activities and about the importance of environmental protection. She turned to landscape architecture, ‘the most comprehensive of arts’*, with the hope that some of these changes we impose on the land, water and air could be mitigated with the landscape design at both: small and large scale.
After nine years of working in the profession she decided to start her own practice to explore and express her passion for inclusive design and nature in the city, to make a real change through the design. With the spirit of a discoverer, she enjoys working on projects that allow venturing into a new design, concepts and cultural areas.
Polish by birth, Londoner by choice. A cyclist and active traveller, she is passionate about the natural and urban environment and equality. She writes about design, landscape architecture and garden design.
